Mark specializes in Alternative Investments including Private Equity, Real Estate, infrastructure, Private Credit and Secondaries. He recruits investment and non-investment professionals and has considerable experience is fundraising/investor relations.
With a 20-year career in executive search, Mark has extensive experience in tailoring strategies to access, vet and close on candidates that meet the unique needs of each client. He’s earned a reputation as an honest broker, sound strategic advisor and highly effective advocate for his clients. He’s recruited transformational talent; helped firms scale through
team builds of up to 20+ recruits; completed in-depth market intelligence reports to evaluate and benchmark organization structures; and identified opportunities for platform extensions that have resulted in the acquisitions of firms and teams. His clients range from large global companies to early stage firms.
Before joining BridgeStreet Partners in 2019, Mark was a Partner at Westwood Partners which he joined in 2008. Previously he was at another financial services executive search firm and A.T. Kearney (formerly Ray & Berndtson).
Mark was trained as a banker at JP Morgan Chase where he was an officer in both corporate workouts and commercial real estate finance. Mark then joined The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank (now Mizuho Financial) where he eventually became Head of Commercial Real Estate Finance.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from Clark University. He also completed The Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.
